Inclusive Club Kick Starter
Seven easy challenges to get your club ready for inclusion.
The Inclusive Club Kick Starter will help you lead your club towards creating more opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds, perspectives and abilities to get involved. In this course I will guide you through seven challenges that will set your club up for inclusion success.
Ultimately this means that your club's membership will not only grow but will be more reflective of your local community.
If you play a role in running your club and want to start on the journey towards a more diverse, welcoming and inclusive club, then this course is for you.
This course is all about:
- getting your club started with inclusion
- building a strong foundation on which to build and improve
- giving you the tools, resources and information you need to tackle inclusion and diversity with confidence
"I think the course was great! It was really helpful to take an in depth look at all the different areas that make up an inclusive program. My organization had already started on our inclusion journey prior to me starting this course but I still found it very useful especially Challenge Five - Participant Options. I would recommend this course to anyone who is looking to increase inclusion in their program."
- Kealee Wazonek, Accessibility and Inclusion Coordinator
I'm Michael Woods founder of Inclusive Sport Design. Thanks so much for being here and thanks for committing to make inclusion happen in sport.
If you don't know me, I run the Inclusive Sport Design website sharing tools, resources and knowledge to help sport clubs and organisations take action on inclusion. I also work with sports directly to help them with inclusion and diversity strategy. I'm also a Para-sport specialist with years of experience developing sport pathways for people with disability from club to high performance.
When it comes to learning online I believe in creating courses that help you take real action. I hope that's what we achieve together here.
Thanks again for being here. Let's make inclusion happen together!
